Native Americans have been here since the beginning of time. They argon a planetary culture and each is different on what they are adequate to do and what they eat. For the Olmec civilization it was a bit harder to understand and make them due to where they live and how they protect themselves. Researchers have found so much more or less than but yet so some needs to be discovered.
The Olmec civilization was the prevailing civilization in Mesoamerica between the periods of 1200 BC to 400 BC. The Olmec civilization is a controversial topic for researchers there have been some debates over the date of the artifacts found. Researcher Ignacio Bernal classified the evolution of the Olmec civilization into three phases. These phases are Olmec I 1750 to 1150 BC, Olmec II 1150 to 400 BC, and Olmec III 400 to nose candy BC. Archeologists believe that the Olmec pople came from an area cognise as Vera Cruz. This area is known as the Olmec heartland. The Olmec heartland region is found along the Gulf sailplaning and the Tuxtlas mountain range. there are indication that shows that the Olmec culture whitethorn have expanded as far as sec of Guatemala, Honduras, and Costa Rica.




The Olmec people were believed to be non-agricultural at first. The Olmec heartland was located in a region that was dense with tropical forests. With these forests there were more than enough plants and animals for the Olmec people to hunt and gather to be equal to(p) to sustain a small community. With not having to worry about the food supply the Olmec would have been able to experiment with cultivating of crops.
