Who would you define as the worst iniquityner in The Scarlet Letter? The Scarlet Letter is rough a young woman named Hester Prynne who came over from Europe with her hubby who was supposed to follow after her. Hester Prynne had been waiting for her save to occur over but it had become prolonged. So Hester Prynne ended up committing adultery with the minister of newfound England named Arthur Dimmesdale. This story is about committing a sin against the Puritan culture that is all about theology and alert right before divinity. Their culture really took living by the Bible seriously and condemned those who didnt obey Gods laws. It became a widely-known scandal all around the township and many people condemned and had hateful touching for Hester. But the real effects of the hurtful sin actually affected the minister.
The start-off character who I believe that actually provoked the sin was Hester Prynne. When she came over to New England her husband had some unfinished commercial enterprise to tend to with his doctors office. Hester Prynne told the whole town that her husband was supposed to be coming over and Good news were supposed to be heard from him. (Hawthorne 57) But the affairs took him seven-day than he thought it would be.
The sin that Hester Prynne committed was deadly and it had a deep impact on the minister. (Hawthorne 63) Hester Prynne really didnt feel the effects of the awful sin that she committed. She ended up doing dear(p) work for the townspeople with her needle. Seven years pass by and the whole town practically forgets the situation.
