Labor Unions were created near the 1900s to give instituteers fair rights to their pay and living conditions. Workers would sometimes raise up paid cents and were treated like tools that can just be replaced. Mining histrions are a great example for mountain that want brotherhoods. Mine workers had low pay, long hours, and horrible conditions. whatever of them were only around the age of ten. Even when they were paid, they were paid with workers bills for that specific company. This money could not be used outback(a) of the company; the workers withal used this money to pay for supplies for work and even a living space. The company was getting truly cheap labor because of this. Unions changed this, they made it so the workers got good pay, didnt half to buy from the company.
The Government and companies didnt want these Unions to retrieve because the owners would make less money and so would the Government. Companies would fire these Union workers and take all their belongings because it belong to the company because the worker bought it from the company.



Then companies would replace the workers with replacement workers. They literally replaced old workers. They were normally called scabs because they were the replacement for them. So when Unions happened they needed almost everyone to join and do so in secrecy.
The first big successful union was the Matewan Union. This Union was filled with workers and the scabs that worked together against the company. The mayor and the serif also aided the Union to win the battle.
