Christian Exclusivism and a Loving God
Judge not, and you get out not be judged; condemn not, and you testament not be condemned; release and you will be forgiven
Luke 6:7
Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the placard you give will be the measure you get.
Matthew 7:1-2
Christians make up the largest percentage of people on the earth in regards to religion. At 33% of the population, there be about 41,000 sects or denominations of Christianity. The majority of its members claim to believe in one God who is all agreeable among other things. In addition to this commonly held belief many Christians are exclusivists in regards to buyback. Exclusivists think that members of their impost are the only ones that achieve salvation and anyone who is not a member is damned. I will advocate the case that if there were an all winning God, then believe salvation as traditionally exclusive is wrong. This argument is applicable to monotheists, particularly Christian exclusivists who believe in an all loving God.
One may posit that their tradition provides the best agent for salvation or that their salvation is equally as sanitary off as those of other traditions.
While these inclusivist or pluralistic views are interesting and worth looking at, I will not argue for either of those today. I will scarce argue against exclusivism in the case that God is all loving. I will not decide today what the more reassert view is to hold in regards to salvation but I do conclude that exclusivism is not the right one.
The argument at hand reads:
1.If Christians believe God is an all loving be then it is not the case that members of one Christian tradition entirely achieve salvation.
2.Christians believe God is an all loving being.
3.Therefore, it is not the case that members of one Christian tradition alone achieve salvation.
First I will discuss what it meaning according to the popular Christian tradition to be all...If you exigency to get a full essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
