ABSTRACT
As the world evolves into a profuse paced, rapidly moving scene, so has its effect been felt in almost e real facet of life. One area of following where this is evident is in business. There is a continuous neediness for innovative practices and ways of managing business with the view of gaining and maintain a competitive advantage over the contemporaries or colleagues in the industry. Effective management of the supply chain at alone times is potential a means of achieving this goal. This practice is referred to as Supply Chain Management.
Supplier teaching is one major(ip) aspect of supply chain management. It deals with the maturation effort of the buying organization towards its suppliers.
The major subject of interest in this report is co- using, which is a very level of supplier development. Though it has its inherent ch all in allenges and requires lots of efforts from all the parties involved, it is believed to equally yield worthwhile results that benefit all these parties.
In this report, I will be discussing a co-development programme that took place in Nissan Motors, United country (NMUK).
INTRODUCTION
The procurement function of any business deals with the acquisition of goods and/or services at the most desirable cost, time, quality and quantities (Waller 2003). Its activities wherefore remain very crucial for a good boilersuit business performance. Therefore, it is very necessary that this area of the business is thoroughly and efficiently managed.
